More Zara cool stuff I’m loving

Loading

This spring, I did a bunch of Zara shopping, and I really thought I was done for the year. But I don’t know what’s changed – have they got a new designer or what, but there have been some really cool pieces, some of them on dirt-cheap sale, and I haven’t been able to resist.

Today’s impulse buy – pink sweatshirt

A collab with Philippa Coules

I loved their Grinch sweatshirt I got last winter – cute, high-quality, and really warm. So, when this appeared on my Insta feed today, I didn’t even think twice. From the limited number of pieces available, I knew I would lose if I played the waiting for the sale game, and so I didn’t think twice. It will come home tomorrow, and I have zero qualms about fit or quality.

Double-printed scarf

I got this on the last sale, and it’s no longer available. It’s not a large warm shawl, but it’s one of those chic, knot at your neck ones, and it does double-duty of keeping your neck warm while at the same time looking very put together. Very chic, really soft and silky, and the double-sided print makes it work well with most of my wardrobe colors, and it was less than 5 pounds! I look forward to wearing it under my leather jacket this fall.

Expensive-looking clutch

This bag was a total surprise to me. I love how expensive and luxe it looks in the photo, but fully expected it to feel cheap and plasticky in real-life. No, it’s just gorgeous! True, the clasp opening is a little fiddly, and I don’t expect this to last more than 2-3 years, but the clasp itself is beautiful, and the bag’s material feels very Cult Gaia. You can also use this as a clutch or with the strap. I prefer the strap just because it looks so much more casual and versatile.

I am really looking forward to wearing these a lot more now that the weather has gotten a little cooler, and with the more social and festive gatherings on the horizon!
