Welcome to Mailbox Monday.

The books I mentioned I was expecting in my last mailbox post finally showed up last week, almost two weeks later than expected.

I got After You by JoJo Moyes. This is the sequel to her bestselling Me Before You, which I have still to read. Both books have pretty strong reviews, and I am looking forward to my first reading experience of JoJo Moyes.

The second book I got is Make Me by Lee Child – the new Jack Reacher book. However predictable I find his stories, I always end up enjoying them.

I got both these books from Penguin Random House.

The last book is Chronicler of the Undead by Mainak Dhar, which is a horror/zombie book, which I got from Writers Melon. I was expecting this book to be my Halloween read, but better late than never, right?

So these are the books that I got last week. What books did you get? What are you looking forward to reading?

Me Before You is one of my all time favorites but I’ve heard mixed reviews about After You. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.

@disqus_W3bZsBdKXf:disqus I’ve heard mixed reports about it too. Let’s see…

  2. Oh, enjoy the Jojo Moyes books! My favorite of hers so far is one of the lighter ones — her road trip novel One Plus One. But Me Before You made me cry many tears, and I anticipate that After You will do likewise.

@readingtheend:disqus Ooh, I am not right now in the mood for crying tears, so I just may hold off reading this book till the new year.

I have heard a lot about Jojo Meyes. Let me know how the book is once you are done.

  4. I need to read the first Jojo Moyes in that series too.
Don’t you hate waiting on parcels? I expected some stuff on Friday that’s not here yet – really, really want it! (Books of course)

@samstillreading:disqus ughh. I hate it. The worst thing though is when they get lost in the post, which happens quite frequently to me 🙁
