Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued.
Not too many books this week as I am still trying to finish my older book reviews before accepting fresh ones.
I received a review copy of Fade into Red by the author Reshma K.Barshikar. It’s her début novel. From what I understand, this is a multi-cultural story spanning Mumbai and Tuscany. Art also plays a big role in the book. Based on just these three words – multi-cultural, art, and Tuscany, I happily agreed to review the book and am looking forward to it.
Bubble Wrap by Kalyani Rao is a book that deals with child marriage (an accepted social evil that used to occur in India nearly 100 years ago, it probably happens even now in rural areas but it’s against the law). The premise of the book sounds grim, but I am hoping it won’t be all grim without any silver lining in the vicinity. Let’s see how it goes.
Which books did you receive last week? Which ones are you looking forward to reading?
Looking forward to your comments on the new books!

Fade to Red does sound good. You can add the world ‘vineyard’ to multi-cultural, art and Tuscany!
@disqus_i6yD8dkxUt:disqus oh, yes! How could I miss vineyard 😀
I like the sound of Bubble Wrap. Hoping to hear more about it soon!
Those are new to me but they both look terrific! I hope you love them!
The titles and covers of both books are really catching my eye.
They both sound excellent. I hope they are good reads…they sure look like they are.
ENJOY your reading week.

I love that I stumbled on your blog.. I like how you mix other reviews into your book reviews.
@angelasanxiouslife:disqus Thanks for visiting and commenting, Angela :), yes, I try to mix stuff a little bit in this space. It’s hard for me to focus only on books 🙂
