Hello there Nishita, pleasure to make your acquaintance! I hope this comment finds you well.
My name is M.H. Altis, and on behalf of myself and the publishing company I work with, 5 AM Publishing, I’d like to extend an ask and invitation to review my debut novel, USS PRIMIS: The First Starship.
I came across your website while searching for review sites on Google, and after reading your review policy, thought we might be a good fit.
I’ve included a link to a BookFunnel hosted ARC: https://books.5ampublishing.com/oibzk6qtrl.
I’ll get some particulars out of the way to better help you make a read/not read decision.
Short description of the book: The first manned mission to recolonize a crumbling Earth goes horribly wrong, and so begins a twisted game of cat and mouse as Commander Davis fights not only for his own life, but for all humanity.
Genre: Science-Fiction / Psychological Thriller
3 Word Description: Tense. Philosophical. Funny.
Content Warning: Violence
Standalone or Series:Standalone
Expected Release Date:Sept 30, 2024
Format:eBook only for now (available in essentially any reading format you’d like); will also be Paperback & Hardcover later
Length (Word Count): ~54,000 words
Amazon Author Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/M.H.Altis/author/B0C127D12R
Brief author bio: M.H. Altis wrote their first short story when they were a young child, scribbling away with a stubby pencil and a dollar store spiral-bound notebook. Ever since then, they’ve been hooked. USS PRIMIS: The First Starship is their debut novel.
Please give your honest opinion, even if you don’t like the book.
I’d love if the book was reviewed before Sept 30, 2024 (launch date), but no worries at all if that’s not possible!
I won’t pester you for a follow-up. I appreciate you taking the time to read this email, whether you’re able to find time to read my book or not.
Thank you for your consideration,
M.H.
Hi Nishita,
I found your information on Reedsy and would love to have my book reviewed by you. I tried posting a request on your contact form last week, but it never showed up. I hope this will.
My book is titled “The Tigers of Talighati” and it includes many strong female characters.
Below are editorial reviews from Uma Kiran and Danelle Petersen of eBookFairs.com. You will also find it if you scroll down to the Editorial Reviews section on the Amazon US Website.

This inspirational book will win the affection of both teens and adults — fans of YA fiction will connect with Neela, Vaayu and Dabbu. Overall, this exciting tale will take readers on a breathtaking and emotional adventure. Readers will fall in love with this wonderful tiger-family and their home, over and over again.
We’ll see the protagonists battle their enemies in a powerful way. This book is adventurous, funny and sentimental. It explores important issues such as survival, familial love, loss, friendship, community-support, perseverance and family-values. The novel is well written and easy to follow. The storyline is colorful and engaging. Most of all, it’s free from mature themes, making it appropriate for all audiences. The amazing scenery makes it easy for readers to connect with the story in a naturalistic way. If you liked reading “White Fang”, “Black Beauty”, and “Mowgli” then this novel will touch your heart too. I give it a five star rating. —Uma Kiran for eBookFairs
The Tigers of Talighati, written by Dave Ryan Haaski, transports readers to a peaceful and harmonious world where predator and prey coexist without animosity. Tej and Raj, two powerful tiger brothers, and their families live contently in the jungle until a cunning and dangerous threat, known only as The Tyrant, emerges. Will their peaceful existence be shattered by this mysterious tiger?
Although Tigers of Talighati can be interpreted as a children’s story, it relates very much to the struggles and challenges young adults face in everyday life. I really liked Dave’s concept concerning the novel’s characters. Using animals instead of humans in order to bring his story to life was interesting, and although not original, was creative and showed confidence in his storytelling skills. Being able to write a story that both children and young adults will resonate with is not easy, and I feel that Dave succeeded in making it suitable for both age groups. The Tigers of Talighati took me back to my childhood years, evoking feelings of nostalgia which I really enjoyed. Also, the plot was good; everyone roots for the good guy and I was excited to find out how the story would pan out, considering that The Tyrant was so powerful. I found Dave’s knowledge of wildlife is impressive; I learned quite a lot about animals and their habits which I am grateful for. I recommend Tigers of Talighati to everyone who enjoys a little fantasy mixed with reality, especially animal lovers! —Danelle Petersen for eBookFairs
Book Synopsis
Deep in the enchanted jungles of Asia live three tiger cubs: Dabbu, Vaayu, and Neela. They are playful; they are rambunctious—each with a personality of their own. Dabbu loves to eat and sleep. Neela is a fast learner who loves conversing with the birds. Vaayu is carefree and loves to think outside the box. All three are raised by Leela, their doting mother, and their powerful father, Tej—who have to often engage in brutal fights with others to protect their cubs.
As the cubs develop into extraordinary teens while enjoying a fun-filled, adventurous life, an unknown danger threatens to turn everything upside down. An evil monster, his wicked advisors, some sneaky spies, and a vicious army of blood-thirsty dholes (wild dogs) are marching towards Talighati to capture its territories and destroy everything that stands in their way. Hundreds of bloodied bodies lie strewn across the jungle in wake of their deadly rampage.
When a friend brings news of their impending arrival, the family is torn—should they stay and fight, or should they flee? But how can a handful of tigers fight a powerful army? Where will they go? The wicked army is everywhere, and so are the spies. The inexperienced teens and their mother have to embark on a perilous journey through the river, where they can be caught at the next turn. What other dangers await them and their cousin, Yug? Which animals will they meet, and will they help or betray? What will be their fate? Will the evil monster and his army have the last laugh?
This nuanced, multi-layered action thriller is for all those who enjoy captivating characters, unexpected twists and turns, intrigue, revenge, a healthy dose of humor, a dash of romance, and an ever changing landscape that will take your breath away.

Hi Nish!
My name is Cassandra and my debut novel, “Happiest in Denial” has been published! Yay! Now I need help spreading the word.
My novel would fit into the genre of women’s contemporary fiction, chick lit, psychological fiction to name a few. Please note that there is strong adult content, graphic language, and some graphic sex scenes.
The book is very topical, showing the insidious side of domestic violence and looks at gaslighting, narcissism, and toxic relationships. I’m hoping it will open the eyes of women in similar situations and hopefully men will find it insightful too.
Check out my book trailer that will give you a feel for my story https://youtube.com/shorts/jUYf7C11N88?feature=share
Please let me know if you can help me and what the next step might be. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Cassandra

When the Storm Ends
Beth thought her violent childhood was something she left in the past—until she met Erin. Now the abuse of her step-father has returned in terrifying nightmares.
Beth became a child psychologist so she could help children who are broken and hurting, but Erin, the fifteen-year-old who killed her father, is different. If Beth can’t reach her and find out why she did it, Erin will spend the rest of her childhood behind bars. To most people, it looks simple—Erin is either crazy or evil, but when Beth looks into Erin’s haunted eyes, she’s sure that something terrible was done to this girl. Erin, however, isn’t talking.
Beth believes Erin might open up to someone with whom she feels a kinship. Of course, Beth knows she shouldn’t share her own past with a patient, but the clock is ticking toward Erin’s trial, and Beth is out of options.
Little does Beth know that taking this terrifying leap will not only reveal the truth about Erin, but will rip Beth’s past wide open as well—and a connection between them that will shake Beth to the core.
The Rift Between Us
After a family dinner turns into a bitter fight, sisters Maria, Lauren, and Avery decide to go their separate ways. Their father warns them that someday they will need one another. When he dies suddenly, they learn that he intends to make sure that they do. He’s left them a substantial inheritance, far more than any of them ever imagined.
There’s just one catch. If they want the money, they will have to spend two weeks together at a secluded lake house and follow all of their father’s instructions—no matter how strange.
Their task seems simple enough, but each one is holding onto painful secrets and old grudges the others know nothing about. But if they can learn to trust each other again, they might be able to mend the rift between them and give their father his dying wish.
Where Hope is Found
One tiny moment in time can shatter your whole world.
A family beach vacation turns to tragedy and Marissa must find a way for her and her traumatized eight-year-old daughter, Maisy, to move forward and heal. But memories of what she lost surround her, threatening to take her to a dark place; a place she can never go again.
When her brother extends an invitation for her and Maisy to move in with him on Princess Island, Marissa thinks it might just be the fresh start she needs. But can she really find hope and healing on an island surrounded by the same ocean that broke her heart?

Dear Nishita,
My name is Emmanuella Hristova and I’m contacting you to review my recently self-published romantic poetry collection, “The Day My Kisses Tasted Like Disorder”.
“The Day My Kisses Tasted Like Disorder” is a short collection of poems that explores a tumultuous year of love, heartbreak and unimaginable loss. It documents the birth and death of a college relationship, and the death of my sister. Each poem is an emotional time-stamp that plunges the reader into the depths of my feelings as they burgeon and wane. The book reads like a diary and chronicles the boundaries of the things that we all feel: passion, heartache, and pain that gives way to hope.
This is my debut poetry collection and my first self-published work. I first published in April, 2018. It’s about 50 pages. Although the book only has a few reviews so far, it’s rated a 4.5 on Amazon and 4.2 on Goodreads. It’s available via eBook on Amazon, iBooks, barnesandnoble.com, Bookshout, Kobo, and Lulu for $3.99.
If you’re willing to read and review my book, I’d be more than happy to send you a free ePub, mobi or PDF copy via email at ehristova@berkeley.edu. I am also open to author interviews and guest blog posts.
For publicity regarding my work and to read some of my poetry, feel free to view my website at http://www.ehristova.com and my Instagram account at http://www.instagram.com/emmy_speaks
I want to thank you so much for your time, and sincerely hope you take the time to read and review my work. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Emmanuella
