It’s been a crazy couple of months for all of us – notably Snubnose. She turned 18 this Feb but we hardly did anything being as she was bang in the middle of her school final board exams, while at the same time preparing for college entrance exams.
She really wasn’t in the headspace for a big party – so we just had a small family lunch with three of her closest friends and it was such a nice time!
We went to one of the hottest new restaurants in town – Lupa, and the food and atmosphere really lived up to the hype.

I love these days which are low-key but all about love and family and friends. She probably will have a real heavy-duty party with her friends once she’s done with her college admissions but for now, she loved her grown-up lunch, she got her first taste of alcohol (didn’t like it very much), she’s also got her voter ID, and will soon be getting her own bank account. We’ve also been visiting colleges, to see which one suits her best. I am really hoping she gets into a college in Bangalore, I am just not ready to let her go yet!
Amazing how quickly 18 years fly by!
