Best books of the decade (2010-2019)

I’ve been reviewing books on this site for the past 10 years or so (started blogging in 2009). I thought it might be fun to look back through all my year-end lists and find out the books I well and truly loved. Cutting the list to 10 was no easy task, but you deserve to know which ones were truly better than the rest.

The only one of these I have gotten around to reading was The Handmaid’s Tale and I didn’t get to the end of that, it was a bit too slow for my taste. The Secret History is on the list though.

I just loved the feminist slant of The Handmaid’s Tale, so yeah, i liked it more for the ideas than the story.

The Secret History is fun though. I just loved every bit of that book. I think you would like it too!
