For the past month, Snubnose worked on this piece of art.
It looks deceptively simple, created using only a black pen, but it took quite a lot of time to get the detailing right. She used a technique called stipling (creating a pattern using a lot of small dots), and while it is easy to do, it does require a good bit of patience.
She said she was inspired by the artist Subramaniam Ravi Shankar.
Here is the final one.
Do you like it?
OMG!! That is such an awesome drawing. I love it. I agree with Jenny – I knew she was artistic, but this is a whole level above everything she has done before. SO gorgeous!
Whoa! I know I am perennially impressed by Snubnose’s artistic talent, but that is a masterpiece even for her. Wow. I am so, so, so impressed. I think that’s absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks @readingtheend:disqus I agree, it is one of the best she’s done 🙂
