WW: Our Weekend in Pictures

Our weekend was full of all sorts of fun – ranging from water play to mud play to bunnies, and trees. The littles had a blast. And truth be told, so did I. I love kiddie birthday parties – they are the best. Especially the theme parties. Last weekend we attended a Peppa pig birthday party.

Piglet spent a couple of hours on Sunday splashing around in water. It was a surprisingly hot day, and we took full advantage of it, letting him have his fun.

My fastidious Piglet preferred the water play to the mud play

Snubnose turned up her nose at the water, declaring it for babies (she was right, if she had got in, all the water would have come out). She splashed happily around in the mud instead, getting hosed down afterwards to get clean.

Jumping just like Peppa Pig in the muddy puddles

They then went on to feed some bunnies. I swear I don’t know how come my kids are such opposites. Snubnose did a cursory feeding (she’s not fond of animals), but Piglet adores animals and spent ages at the bunny cage patiently feeding them leaf after leaf leaf, until they were quite stuffed.

Feeding the bunnies

While Piglet was feeding the bunnies, Snubnose went and did something completely out of character for her. She climbed a couple of trees!

And of course, no weekend can be considered complete for Snubnose until she does some artsy-craftsy activity. This weekend she painted some pots, one of which made me go all gooey with love.

I swear I had nothing to do with it. It was all her own idea. I was so touched when she gave this to me. I am going to take it to office and keep it on my table.

Thanks @readingtheend:disqus that’s my favorite too. He fed those bunnies so sincerely, like he thought they were depending on him for food 🙂
