Halloween is not something we celebrate normally. However this year, Snubnose and her friends were very into going trick or treating for candy. She wanted to go as a vampire, but when she saw a witch’s hat in Partymania, she promptly changed her mind.

She eventually dressed up as a witch, complete with long spooky cape, and over-the-top makeup.

Piglet and I preferred a much more sedate evening indoors. He didn’t want to get all dressed up and go trick-or-treating, so we settled down together to a peaceful evening indoors reading our respective books.

I chose Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot – one of his older books that I have never got around to reading.

We fortified ourselves with plenty of candy, some for ourselves and some for all the children who came visiting.

All in all a most enjoyable evening, and a fitting end to what was an action-packed month.

@readingtheend:disqus haha, thank you 🙂 , I just went wild with the lipstick (it was a shade that was a bit too red for me, so I was happy to use it freely on her), and kajal.
