Ranganthithu and Mysore Unposted

Here are a few outtakes taken by a friend on our road trip to Mysore and Coorg last month.

My camera was malfunctioning on the first day and I am grateful that he shared these snaps with me so I have some nice photographic memories of the Snubnose’s birthday trip 🙂 .

Our first stop was at Ranganthitthu bird sanctuary where we were lucky enough to spot a lot of wonderful birds and crocs. We went boating in order to be able to see them from up close.

We then drove on towards Mysore to see the famous Mysore Palace.

As per the rules, we had to remove our shoes before we entered the palace. To retrieve our shoes, we had to walk quite a bit. Poor Snubnose could not tolerate the burning hot grounds and so I ended up carrying her most of the way.

Have to say it was quite a nice feeling to carry Snubnose. It’s been ages since she needed carrying and until now I never realized how much I miss her carry me stage.
