WW: Snubnose Presents her Last Artwork of the Year

For the past month, Snubnose worked on this piece of art.

It looks deceptively simple, created using only a black pen, but it took quite a lot of time to get the detailing right. She used a technique called stipling (creating a pattern using a lot of small dots), and while it is easy to do, it does require a good bit of patience.

She said she was inspired by the artist Subramaniam Ravi Shankar.

Here is the final one.

  1. OMG!! That is such an awesome drawing. I love it. I agree with Jenny – I knew she was artistic, but this is a whole level above everything she has done before. SO gorgeous!

  2. Whoa! I know I am perennially impressed by Snubnose’s artistic talent, but that is a masterpiece even for her. Wow. I am so, so, so impressed. I think that’s absolutely gorgeous.
