WW: And Yet More Crocodiles

I posted about our trip to Crocodile Bank here. At the time of posting that um post, I had misplaced my memory card and so just got a few croc pictures.

Now, I have my memory card back, so if crocodiles are your thing, here are some coming your way. I have tons of pictures as crocs are pretty easy to photograph, as they are immobile most of the time. However, if reptiles give you the creeps, now is the time to avert your eyes and move to the next post 🙂 .

For some strange reason, we all thought this gharial was very photogenic. I have 18 shots of this gharial from various angles, no joke.

It may seem weird to call a crocodile good-looking, but this one was seriously handsome, and I loved the colors on his skin.

And here comes a close-up of a menacing looking crocodile

Have you had enough of the crocodiles yet? Coz I got 15 more photos of the gharial to share with you. Haha, just kidding 😀

There are alligators where we go to the beach and we give them a wide berth!

@veens:disqus You must. It’s a nice place for kids to gape at all the crocs. Very hot in summer though, but you can cool off in the nearby boating place.

We don’t have crocs here in Texas but we have lots of their cousins, the alligators. Yes, they are slow but—be careful!—alligators can move very fast if they want to!

    Here’s my Wordless Wednesday!

@debnance:disqus I am sure they can. I would be terrified if I saw these animals in the wild.
