After a brief hiatus, I am back to participating in the literary giveaway bloghop hosted by Judith from Leeswammes’ Blog.
This time I am following a theme for the giveaway. There are two books to be won and two winners. Both books revolve around plants/gardening, and I enjoyed both books thoroughly.
The books I am giving away are:
The Signature of all Things by Elizabeth Gilbert is a wonderful book that explores horticulture in the 19th century interspersed with debates about the evolution of life. This book is one of the hottest books this year, and deserving of every last bit of the hype.
The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng made it to the Man Booker shortlist last year and is another wonderful read about the damages of war and the healing power of gardening.
Rules of the Giveaway
There are no rules. The giveaway is international. Just leave a comment on this blog post letting me know which book you would like to read.
I will select two winners using a random number generator on November 14th. After contacting the winners, I will announce the winners on my blog.
If these books don’t rock your boat, try some of the other giveaways listed here…you are sure to find something right up your alley.
