Was busy doing errands when I saw this in the supermarket window:
A jaded looking Shah Rukh Khan and a grim Kajol on the October cover of Vogue India promoting their latest movie – My Name is Khan.
Now, they are supposed to be one of the Bollywood leading pairs with the hottest chemistry. All the movies thay have acted in together have been record-breaking blockbusters.
But this cover??? they both look so tired. And why is he showing off his non-existent chest hair? Ugg! No so-called chemistry evident at all. Just looking at this blah cover makes me not want to see their new movie…
In addition, I just can’t get over the feeling of boredom seeing the two of them together. I enjoyed their first two movies – Baazigar and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. However, the rest of their movies have just gone downhill for me, with Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam being the worst.
I just don’t think I am up to watching another Shah Rukh-Kajol movie again. According to me, they have milked their so-called chemistry enough and it is now time to retire it and move on…

I’ve only watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. KKHH was a really big hit and was shown numerous times on TV (in Malaysia).
True, the both of them certainly don’t look appealing on the Vogue cover. Khan looks tired! All the best with their new movie!
I’ve seen a few Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan movies: my favorite being KKHH! (it’s just so sweet, and the music/dancing and the children…what a great movie). I totally agree, this cover makes Shah Rukh Khan, at least, look so old and tired and Kajol looks like she’s got a headache or a toothache or something.
Even I noticed this. Shahrukh is looking old now…has to be..coz he is now old! However I am looking forward to this movie. I believe it will be good.
And may be he is showing off his shaven chest to compete with Kajol! 😀
They look OLD!!!!!! and yes fatigued…….. Iam not looking forward at all, but then again sometimes it depends on the story line how the film would turn out…. and about the cover, it looks cheesy… like two middle aged people trying to be young..
yeah, honestly I don’t mind them acting together again. But I get irritated with this constant hyping of the pair!
I too agree with you …they don’t look so good together anymore but I’ll just see MNIK for the old times sake when they were the hottest screen pair around 😀
