The Woman who Stole my Life

It's a good book, I enjoyed it, but it's nowhere as good as some of her earlier books which I adore, and which are my all-time favorites.

A funny new novel from international bestselling author Marian Keyes about Irish beautician Stella Sweeney who falls ill, falls in love, then falls into a glamorous new life in New York City.

When her dream life is threatened, will she rally to reclaim love and happiness?

I’m trying something a little different with this review. This weekend Snubnose and K were out-of-town and I used the opportunity to film a quick vlog review of this book.

Towards the end it became a little rushed when I caught Piglet fooling around in my make-up drawer, but I got pretty much everything I wanted to say within the video and still managed to keep it within 10 minutes.

Do watch the video and give it a thumbs up on youtube if you like it, or if you prefer leave a comment below this post.

Do you watch youtube book reviews? I am still new to all this and I am looking to find some good booktubers to follow. Let me know your favorite booktubers, and if you have any feedback on this video, let me know so I can better the quality 🙂 .

  1. My internet connection is so slow atm that I couldn’t even watch this review. So I’m a proponent of traditional, written reviews! When fibre optic broadband makes it here, I may change my mind, but for now…

I’ve never tried Keyes’ work but this one sure sounds good. I love that your little one wanted to get in on the act.!
