I just finished this book last week, and I am pleasantly surprised, even a tad impressed by the quality of this book. The writing is uneven in places (maybe because I have an early copy of the book?), but the story is mind-blowing. Here’s a taste:
There is something about the train rides that make people from all emotional backgrounds look similar. They all look sleepy. It’s like a fill in the blank in someone’s life.
One can fill it with any number of thoughts or just some sound sleep but I guess nothing else changes about you while you are on the ride.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
That’s a perfect description of what it’s like to be in a train station late at night! I sometimes feel that getting ARCs means you don’t get an actual finished product and then some of the writing is disappointment! Thanks for sharing 🙂 hope you have a great week!

Sounds like this character enjoys observing others. I’m guessing something happens to disturb the mundane situation.
My Tuesday post features The
Gods of Second Chances.
Interesting teaser, the narrator is clearly a people watcher! Thanks for visiting my TT http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/09/02/teaser-tuesday-september-2/
The title really caught my attention. Curious to see what it’s all about.
My TT this week is from a Tolstoy novella.

Curious teaser:) I’m a people watcher and that’s some interesting descriptive writing.

I think I’d need a little more to decide, but it does sound intriguing.
I love the excerpt…..will check out your review 🙂
