Welcome to Mailbox Monday, a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued.

I received the following books over the last couple of weeks.

Stay Where you are and Then Leave is by the author John Boyne. I’ve never read his books before but have heard good things about his previous book – The Boy in Striped Pajamas and am super-excited to read this new book by him.

The Thousand Names by Django Wexler is billed as the first in a Fantasy series. I don’t know much about the book and the author, but I am always happy to try out new offerings in the Fantasy genre, as if nothing else, I enjoy the world-building.

Both these books came to me from Penguin Random House.

I also received Tuki’s Grand Salon Chase from the author Parul Sharma for review. Parul Sharma is a blogger, and it is always exciting to read books written by fellow bloggers whose writing style I like. She is no longer prolific on her blog, but if you are interested head on over to Radio Parul, where she has some recent posts on her new book.

So, these are the books that I am excited to read and discuss on the blog. Have you read these books? Did you get any interesting ones?

The covers look great! Definitely have to check them out.
I read The Boy in Striped Pajamas. It was actually quite a quick read since it’s children’s book and so pretty thin in size BUT wow, the ending just bowled you over! Heartbreaking! I still remember the moment I read it… I don’t think I’ll be able to sit down and watch the movie 🙁

I’d really want to know what you think of Stay Where You Are and Then Leave. I’ve been wanting to purchase this but I haven’t read many reviews about the book yet. Have fun reading! 🙂
