They were all dead now. Jory, old Ser Rodrik, Lord Eddard, Harwin and Hullen, Cayn and Desmond and Fat Tom, Alyn with his dreams of knighthood, Mikken who had given him his first real sword. Even Old Nan, like as not.
And Robb. Robb who had been more a brother to Theon than any son born of Balon Greyjoy’s loins. Murdered at the Red Wedding, butchered by the Freys. I should have been with him. Where was I? I should have died with him.
A sad moment of regret by Theon Greyjoy, who is hopefully a reformed villain.
And here’s a tender moment between father and son villains from A Dance with Dragons LOL! Can you guess who they are?
Don’t make me rue the day I raped your mother.
What can I say…the villains always get the best lines 🙂
Quotes are from A Dance with Dragons, the fourth book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R.Martin.
Btw, if you want to buy a copy of this book, check out Cuponation. They have some good coupons for use with Flipkart.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Aaaah, I do need to get more fantasy in my diet. 🙂 Thank you.
I have one up as well this week, if you’d like to stop by…

AHAHA, great teaser! Killer line 😉
Hope you enjoy your book.
My Teaser from Wait For You by Jennifer L. Armentrout (+ giveaway of the same book)
I started Game Of Thrones but haven’t finished it yet. It’s sort of daunting because there are so many more to catch up with, ha ha. Great teaser though, I agree villains tend to get the best lines. : )
new follower! here’s my tt: http://followthewritingrabbit.blogspot.com/2013/03/teaser-tuesday.html
@WritingRabbit: It looks more daunting than it is. The books are very gripping (well Feast of Crows not so much), and I so much wanted to know what was going to happen next that I read them all back to back without any break.
Here is mine:

Gee, what a sweetheart that dad must be! (sarcasm)
My teaser is from THE LAW OF SIMILARS.
Great teasers! I tried to start this series but couldn’t get into the first book. I keep thinking I’ll give it another try one of these days. Here’s my TT post!
What a teaser! Here is my teaser for this week.
Hope you’re enjoying this novel! I’ve been meaning to re-read it back to back with A Feast of Crows to get the sense of chronology straight.
Here’s my teaser for this week 🙂
@Lianne: Oh, I did. I just finished this book last week, and though it’s slow in parts, I love it. It ends on such a cliffhanger note, I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
