Welcome to this week’s Mailbox Monday which is hosted this month by Marcia at The Mailbox Monday Blog.

I received these books today morning, and I am already halfway through the Sophie Kinsella book. Her stories are always so breezy and fast-moving. Also looking forward to Guilty Wives by James Patterson and Fallen by Karin Slaughter. I have never read Karin Slaughter before, but I have heard good things about her books on many book blogs. Here’s hoping I find one new thriller writer to add to my regular reads.

What books did you get this week? What are you looking forward to reading?

  1. All three books sound like perfect curl-up-in-your-comfy-armchair reads! I’ve yet to try a Sophie Kinsella and a Karin Slaughter, don’t know why I haven’t read any of their books before. Guilty Wives would appeal to me as well!

A friend of mine ordered The Rice Mother, The Quantum Thief and Yellow Blue Tibia for me. I’m looking forward to finishing Under the Poppy for Adam/RoofBeamReader’s The Literary Others (LGBT) reading challenge. I’ll also continue with Gone with the Wind, can’t wait to see what happens to Scarlett o’Hara!

Hope you’re having a great week, Nish 🙂

All your books look good to me. I would have picked up the Sophie Kinsella book first as well. Enjoy!

Sophie Kinsella is always a fun read. And the other two are quite fast and thrilling reads from what I understand. Nice mailbox! Happy reading this week.

  4. It looks like you’re in for some good reading. I’m going to check out what Guilty Wives is about. Enjoy your new books!
