I was really excited to read Into the Water when it came out earlier this year. After all, I was an early fan of Hawkins’ previous work – The Girl on the Train. So even though Into the Water was retailing for an astronomical price here in India, I went ahead and bought it, and devoured it right away.

Wow! It’s mid-year already! I am always taken by surprise by how quickly the time seems to fly. I still feel like it just turned May.

Turned out, it was easier than I thought. While scanning my reading list page where I jot down all the books I’ve read, certain books just leaped out at me, those books that were so so good that I just couldn’t put them down, that I remember even after quite some time has passed.
