JW Marriott does a regular Sunday brunch at their property on Vittal Mallya Road in Bangalore, and it’s quite a nice brunch. However, last weekend, the brunch was a tad extra-special thanks to the intervention of Nickelodeon.
Nickelodeon India – the TV channel that has spawned the likes of Motu Patlu, Pakdam Pakdai, and Shiva organizes plenty of live events across India giving kids the opportunity to mingle with their favorite cartoon characters and generally have fun with Nickelodeon outside of the house as well.
Last weekend, Nickelodeon partnered with JW Marriott for their Sunday brunch, and we just couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a go-see. We have attended past Nick events with my daughter Snubnose, but this was Piglet’s first time, and he was super-excited when I mentioned all his favorite cartoon characters would be there to meet him.
People work hard during their daily lives and at the end of the day, they want nothing more than to come home and relax. Part of relaxing is having some form of entertainment on hand for the family to enjoy when they are not working. Entertainment can be a variety of things, and it can be different to different people. Most people like to enjoy a quiet night gathered around the television watching their favorite television shows or movies. The weekends are a time where friends often get together and have parties to watch the big game and celebrate their favorite teams winning. If you have little ones you will want to make sure there are plenty of cartoons on hand to keep them occupied.
If you want all of this to happen you will want to be sure that you pick the perfect DIRECTV package so that you and all your family and friends can enjoy everything that you want during your free time.

Last week of December was the Winter break, and now after a week of sleeping, and eating when I please, my circadian rhythms are all over the place, and I am feeling enormously tired and jet lagged although I went no further than Chennai (about 300 km east of where I live) to my parents’ place.
As you might have guessed from my blog title and first sentence, I spent the break alternating between being a couch potato, and being a lazy hippo wallowing in the water, and felt thoroughly relaxed in the process.
All my RSI-related aches and pains, and Vitamin D deficiency-related pains all faded away taking me to a mellow state. And yes, the multiple bottles of beer helped too 🙂 .
