While randomly switching channels sometime this week, I saw an ad/mention about Timeless Asha – a tribute to Asha Bhosle by various young artists of the Hindi Film industry and graced by famous musicians, vocalists, performing artists among others.
This tribute is being telecast on Friday, 8th September at 7 PM and I am definitely watching it.
So, I’m back with another diary style post. This week has been a bit quiet – mostly been busy with work but still I think I have enough material for a weekly diary post.
Last weekend I went to Oko to try out their Mandarin Calling food fest, and I had the best time. I’m realizing of late that events like Oko are the ones that I like and most want to attend. Great ambiance, food, a friendly PR, and the fact that I got to visit it with friends made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and I think that genuine pleasure in the day reflects in my blog post.
I attend blog events only once a week or once in two weeks. That is partly because I don’t have too many PR contacts or blog visibility, but it is also because I turn down a lot of events that don’t interest me, fit into my day job schedule, or involve a stressful trip across town. This is also why I suck as a lifestyle blogger. Just too damn lazy.
I’ve been reading a lot lately, but somehow haven’t been covering these books on the blog. Maybe that blogging slump I had was to blame. Wouldn’t call it a slump exactly because I’ve been blogging pretty regularly, but it’s been feeling pretty mechanical.
It is a well-established fact that India is a land of many diverse talents who want to break free and showcase their creative side to one and all. MTV presents NESCAFE LABS that serves as a platform to these creative youngsters looking for inspiration. It is a platform for experimental and creative talent to be discovered, to collaborate and to be mentored enabling them to get started on their journey in the creative field.
As the show nears the finale, here is some fresh talent you want to watch out for.
