This book was on my TBR list for the longest time. Finally, I got around to it a couple of weeks ago, and all I can tell you right now, is that it is definitely worth the wait. This book is primarily about the isolation and discrimination against the Japanese living in USA during the time of World War 2. Here's an excerpt where he beautifully describes the landscape while at the same time talking about the futility of fighting over land.
