This week’s teaser is from Adopted Miracles – a memoir by Anamika Mukherjee on her experiences with infertility and adoption.
I love the honesty and openness with which she has addressed rather sensitive issues in this book.
That was the wonderful thing: we were just like any other family now.
If the girls have any psychological scars left over from their very early days, they are now completely hidden under silky black hair, smooth, dark skin, sparkling eyes and naughty smiles.
How could I ever think that they were not beautiful?

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
