It’s that time of the year again. Yep, bloghop time.
This is a blog hop for literary books hosted by Judith, and with about 50 bloggers offering to give away their favorite literary fiction reads.
As usual, I will be giving away two recent favorites. My book options are:
- Sense of an Ending – Julian Barnes (see my posts here and here)
- On Chesil Beach – Ian McEwan (review here)
I read both these books in the hopes of making a dent in my Man Booker reading project and I loved both of them. I don’t have the heart to part from these books, and so the winner of the giveaway is going to get a new copy either from The Book Depository or Amazon, whichever makes more sense depending on pricing and shipping.
Rules of the Giveaway
There are no rules. The giveaway is international. Extra points will be awarded to those who choose to follow my blog or my twitter, but following is not mandatory.
Just leave a comment on my blog letting me know which book you would like to read. I will select 2 winners using a random number generator on Thursday Nov 1st. After contacting the winners, I will announce the winners on my blog by next weekend.
If these books don’t rock your boat, try some of the other giveaways listed here…you are sure to find something right up your alley.
I would love to win On Chesil Beach – Ian McEwan

deep in your cheeks
your specific laughter owns
all things south of the ghosts
we once were. straight ahead
the memory beckons from the future
you and I a tribe of colours

footsteps of memory
the very soul aspires to.
Songs of origins songs of constant beginnings

Please count me in for Sense of an Ending, sounds great. Thanks!
