For Roald Dahl Lovers

I loved Roald Dahl’s books as a child and now that the snubnose is old enough, I am looking forward to sharing the love with her and hope she enjoys these books as much as I do.

Anyway, a fellow book fiend emailed to tell me that there is a webcast organized to celebrate his work and his life on September 24th at 2:00 PM BST (British Summer Time), which is approximately 6:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). I am definitely planning to attend and I thought I’d post it here in case anyone else is interested and would like to register.

Here’s the link:

I am definitely going to register for this webcast 🙂

It’s going to feature:

  • Roald Dahl’s legendary illustrator Quentin Blake drawing live and in conversation with the award-winning writer Michael Rosen, author of the brand-new Fantastic Mr. Dahl
  • Michael and Quentin answering questions
  • Special guest appearance by actor and comedian David Williams as The BFG
  • Behind the scenes footage from the Roald Dahl Museum and Storytelling Centre.
  • Peek inside Roald Dahl’s writing hut

This sounds so exciting for a Dahl lover like me.

And if you want some more Roald Dahl, hop on over to MS Mugs who have crafted the most darling mugs with beautiful illustrations of some of Dahl’s most loved characters. I think I want the Matilda, no, the BFG, no, both…

So hard to make a choice…

Some feelings stay eternal, and you hardly have anything better than gifts to celebrate that. It’s the relation with your brothers and sisters we are talking about, and RakhiToIndia2013.com creates the gift galore for that. Visit http://www.rakhitoindia2013.com for more.

Roald Dahl is one of these must-read authors for children and adults alike 🙂 I have a lot of his books still to read and revisit. Hopefully, Snubnose will love his books as well 🙂 The webcast sounds like fun!
