Been playing around with Retro Camera – a fun app that allows me to take old-fashioned, sepia tone pictures.
Here are a few shots I took:
In this photo, the snubnose is pretending to be me attending a telecon. You can’t see it in the photo, but she has got a pair of earphones that she is holding to her ears. I don’t remember ever being this excited to attend a meeting!
I actually quite like the fact that the resolution in these pics is not sharp. It kind of whitewashes (or sepia tones in this case) the flaws in the picture, while retaining the emotions and joy, as you can see below:
I am so in love with the cute borders and the deliberate distressing to make these photos look even more old-school. I am definitely going to play around with Retro Camera’s options quite a bit.
