The Vodafone Critters in the New Ads

Anyone following the IPL will now be aware of the new Vodafone “Zoozoo” ads that have funny little critters doing a silent act like below:

I love the look of these critters, but am getting irritated by the constant bombarding every 10 minutes between IPL matches. I also miss the old pug dog ads, still go awww when I see some of them, such as this one:

One thing I definitely admire is the ad team’s creativity in doing something novel, instead of doing the same old Shah Rukh Khan talking on a phone (like some of their competitors). They have consistently avoided using celebrities in their advertising.

But a few of my friends just totally and completely loathe these critters (using this term for lack of a better word)…
