We decided to spend a Sunday going to Nandi Hills with some of our friends. We all huddled in their Innova and buzzed off. Had a so..so time at the place. The charm of a picnic was lost partly due to the huge holiday turn-out and partly due to the number of intrusive monkeys and stray dogs. Jahnavi was also a little car-sick due to the twists and turns while going up the hill.
Our picnic was truncated because of some very menacing monkeys, and we quickly packed up and went to a friend’s place. We ordered yummy kaati-rolls and generally chilled out while all the kids played together.
Ended up having a pretty decent time finally, if not quite in the way we had planned.
